Igneo established Vertis Energy to build, own and operate distributed energy solutions for commercial and industrial customers. Vertis Energy also manages Igneo’s majority interest in CPE Renewable Investment Unit Trust (‘CPERI’) which builds, owns and operates solar pv and co-located battery energy storage systems (‘BESS’), as well as multi-utility assets, for government, residential, commercial and industrial customers. CPERI includes four operational multi-utility sites, as well as more than 60 operational or under construction distributed solar, small utility-scale solar and co-located BESS assets. The portfolio has 163MW of solar capacity, 221MWh of battery capacity and 139MW of thermal capacity under operation and construction. CPERI benefits from long-term utility contracts across a diversified national customer mix.
