Partner
Niall Mills is the Managing Partner and the Global Head of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. He is a member of the EDIF II & III, GDIF and NADIF Investment Committees.
Niall currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies Anglian Water Group. He has previously served on the board of investee companies Caruna, Digita, Electricity North West, and Reganosa.
Prior to joining the team in 2008, Niall worked in industry holding senior roles at Southern Water, Honeywell, Bechtel and United Utilities.
Niall holds an MBA from London Business School, an Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Directorship and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Sheffield Hallam. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Hamish Lea-Wilson is the Head of Europe and a Partner of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. He is a member of the EDIF II & III and GDIF Investment Committees.
Hamish currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Finerge. He has previously served on the board of investee companies Electricity North West, enfinium, and Scandlines.
Prior to joining the team in 2008, Hamish worked for PwC.
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Durham.
Danny Latham is the Head of Australia and New Zealand and a Partner of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney. He is a member of the EDIF II, GDIF, NADIF and WIIF Investment Committees.
Danny currently sits on the board of directors of investee company coNEXA.
Prior to joining the team in 2007, Danny worked for RREEF Infrastructure.
Danny holds a Bachelor of Economics and Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
John is a Partner and Co-Head of North America for Igneo Infrastructure Partners and is based in New York. He is a member of the GDIF and NADIF Investment Committee.
John is currently a board director at Patriot Rail and Terra-Gen. Prior to joining the team in 2018, John held a senior role at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, which operates the bi-state region’s airports, ports, bridges and tunnels, and PATH commuter rail. Prior to that, John was a Managing Director and head of US infrastructure advisory in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co.
John has a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B. from Harvard College.
Michael is a Partner and Co-Head of North America for Igneo Infrastructure Partners and is based in New York. He is a member of the GDIF and NADIF Investment Committee.
Michael is currently a board director at US Signal and Soltage. Prior to joining the team in 2022, Michael was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Americas at OMERS Infrastructure and was a senior member of its executive management committee. Michael also previously held senior leadership and investment committee positions at Blackstone and Morgan Stanley Private Equity.
Michael holds a Masters of Business Administration with High Distinction from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar, a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. He serves as an Honor Role Trustee for Scholarship America.
Nick Grant is the Head of Asset Management Europe and a Partner of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. He is a member of the EDIF II & III Investment Committees.
Nick currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Scandlines. He has previously served on the board of investee companies Coriance and enfinium.
Prior to joining the team in 2018, Nick was the CEO of Severn Trent Services in the UK, Ireland and Italy. Prior to this role, Nick held senior roles at Centrica PLC.
Nick holds an MBA from London Business School.
Gregor Kurth is the Head of Transactions Europe and a Partner of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. He is and is a member of the EDIF II & III Investment Committees.
Gregor currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies DAH, MVV, Utilitas, and Westconnect. He has previously served on the board of investee companies Caruna, Digita, and Nordion.
Prior to joining the team in 2010, Gregor worked for 3i and Deutsche Bank.
Gregor holds an MSc in International Finance and Accounting from City University of London and a BSc in International Economics from Maastricht University.

Sophie Durham is the Head of Responsible Investment of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Sophie currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Nordion.
Prior to joining the team in 2021, Sophie worked at listed oil and gas company Kosmos Energy and also Critical Resource.
Sophie holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and an MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
Stephen O’Shea is the Head of Investor Relations and Consultant Engagement of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Stephen previously served on the board of directors of investee company Parkia.
Prior to joining the team in 2008, Stephen worked for ING.
Stephen holds a MSc in Applied Economics from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin.
Inderdip Syan is the Head of Operations Europe of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2010, Inderdip was a Partner with Rutley Capital Partners.
Inderdip holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol, a diploma in law from College of Law and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Alessandro Valenti is the Head of Infrastructure Finance of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Alessandro is responsible for overseeing the debt financing of the businesses in our portfolios. Alessandro is involved in acquisition financing of new assets and refinancing of existing businesses across all funds.
Prior to joining the team in 2019, Alessandro worked at Evercore Partners, in the European Debt Advisory team.
Alessandro holds a Juris Doctor in Law and Economics from Luiss University, and a Master in Management from the ESCP Europe (Grand Ecole).
Sarah Cole is a Managing Director, Investor Relations of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2018, Sarah worked for Foresight Group LLP, Citigroup, and Barclays.
Sarah holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Nottingham.
John is a Managing Director for Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in New York. He is a member of the NADIF Investment Committee.
John currently sits on the boards of Terra-Gen and Soltage. Prior to joining the team in 2020, John held roles at CCA Capital, Terra-Gen Power, General Electric, and Citigroup where John led or advised on project finance, structured equity, and M&A transactions in the power and energy sectors. John has 22 years of relevant industry experience and focuses primarily on investments in the energy transition sector.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School. John is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Julie Furber is a Managing Director for Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in New York.
Julie currently sits on the board of Terra Gen. Prior to joining the team in 2024, Julie was CEO of Sensience. Prior to this role, she spent several decades in senior executive roles at public and private manufacturing companies.
Julie holds a Masters and Bachelors in Mathematics from Oxford University.
Mats Hope is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in London.
Mats currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Nordion.
Prior to joining the team in 2012, Mats worked for UBS Investment Bank and Danske Bank.
Mats holds a Master in Applied Economics & Finance from Copenhagen Business School, and a BSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School/Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Celine Kabashima is a Managing Director, Investor Relations of Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2020, she worked for AMP Capital.
Celine holds a Masters of Science in Finance and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Villanova University, Pennsylvania (USA). She is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charterholder.
Gavin Kerr is a Managing Director at Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in Sydney, and is the Head of Transactions, Australia and New Zealand.
He is a member of the GDIF Investment Committee and currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies Waste Management New Zealand, Tuatahi First Fibre, Clarus, Quantem and IPG.
Prior to joining the team in 2013, Gavin worked at Macquarie Group and Arthur Andersen & Co.
Gavin holds a Master of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
Maria Luisa Castro is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. She is a member of the EDIF III Investment Committee.
Maria currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies AEDL, ENSO, Finerge, and OLT. Maria previously served on the board of investee companies ForSea and Parkia
Prior to joining the team in 2020, Maria was the Head of the portfolio Highway Assets for Europe and the US at Globalvia and previously worked as an engineer at FCC in Spain.
Maria has an Executive MBA from IESE and a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica in Madrid.
Alex Nassuphis is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London. He is a member of the EDIF III Investment Committee.
Alex currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Anglian Water Group. He has previously served on the board of investee companies Evos and OLT.
Prior to joining the team in 2015, Alex spent over 15 years in European investment banking at HSBC, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and CSFB.
Alex holds a Dipl. Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Alastair Neill is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Alastair currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Utilitas. He previously served on the board of directors of investee company Coriance.
Prior to joining the team in 2017, Alastair worked at Royal Bank of Canada.

Ignacio Perez is a Managing Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in London.
Ignacio currently sits on the board of directors of investee company ENSO. He has previously served on the board of investee company Parkia.
Prior to joining the team in 2019, Ignacio worked in Investment Banking at Barclays Capital, within the Iberian and Telecoms Infrastructure team.
Ignacio holds a Degree in Law and a Degree in Business Administration from Comillas University / ICADE.
Varun is a Managing Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. He has been with the business in Sydney since 2014 before relocating to New York in 2019.
Varun was involved in the acquisition of Patriot Rail and Ports, Rialto Bioenergy Facility and Terra-gen. Varun plays an ongoing asset management role on the investments and is currently a board director at Patriot Rail. Prior to his relocation to NY, Varun was involved in transaction origination, execution and asset management in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team, Varun worked in the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s internal M&A team for four years. Varun has a double degree in Bachelor of Applied Finance with Bachelor of Accounting from Macquarie University in Sydney. He is also a charter holder with the CFA Institute and Chartered Accountants Australia.
Daniel Timms is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management in ANZ, based in Sydney
Daniel currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies Clarus, Atmos Renewables and CPE Renewable Investments.
Prior to joining the team in 2016, Daniel worked at a major energy utility across asset management, energy trading, development and transactions in Australia and abroad.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Adelaide, a Masters of Applied Finance from Kaplan and is a graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Emmanuel Vivant is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Emmanuel currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies enfinium and Evos.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, Emmanuel was the CEO of SAUR International. Prior to this role, Emmanuel held senior roles at RATP Dev Transdev Asia, Hong Kong Tramways and Veolia Transport.
Emmanuel holds a Master in Engineering from École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.

Alexey Akulov is a Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Alexey worked for FSI from 2014 before joining the Igneo team in 2021. He also has prior experience at Protiviti, St George Bank, Westpac and Platinum Asset Management.
Alexey holds a Master of Economics from All-Russian Distance Institute of Finance and Economics and a Master of Computer Systems and Networks from Penza State Technical University. He also holds a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional qualification.
Khalil is a Director in the Infrastructure Investments team. He is based in New York and has been with the team since 2019.
Khalil is responsible for transaction execution in North America and related asset management activities.
Prior to joining FSI, Khalil worked at Antarctica Capital and Ancala Partners, two mid-market infrastructure funds focusing on transportation, utilities, renewables and midstream.
Khalil holds a MEng in Industrial Engineering from INSA Lyon in France, a Master’s Degree in Finance from EM Lyon Business School, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Sarah is a Director in the Infrastructure Investments team. She is based in New York and has been with the team since September 2022.
Sarah is responsible for transaction origination and execution in North America, and the ongoing asset management of Igneo's portfolio assets.
Prior to joining the team, Sarah spent 9 years at Bank of America in the Power, Renewables and Infrastructure investment banking team in New York, where she focused primarily on M&A transactions in the Renewables sector.
Sarah holds an MSc in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon in France.
Siu Chan is a Treasury Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2018, Siu worked at Vicinity Centres and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Siu holds a Master of Commerce (Funds Management) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance), both from the University of New South Wales. She is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia.
Jay Chong is a Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney.

Lena Huynh is a Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2010, Lena worked at BlueBay Asset Management.
Lena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accounting from Macquarie University and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia.
Moritz is a Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in London.
Moritz is responsible Moritz previously served on the board of investee company Westconnect.sourcing and executing investment opportunities for our European Funds as well as asset management. He currently works on the management of MVV.
Prior to joining in 2020, Moritz worked at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in the Infrastructure and European Credit teams and at Morgan Stanley in the Transportation & Infrastructure M&A team.
Moritz holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.

Monika is a Director in the Infrastructure Investments team. She is based in Sydney and has been with the business since 1998.
Monika’s investment operations role involves coordinating the relationship between the Infrastructure Investments team and the business’ broader legal, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk and compliance functions. This includes a key role in working with clients and investment partners to formulate the terms of our relationship, and the management of legal, investment and fund documentation. Monika is also engaged with the asset management team to assist on specific shareholder matters.
Monika has a Bachelor of Arts and Laws degree from Macquarie University and has undertaken postgraduate study in Applied Corporations Law at the University of New South Wales.
René Ogunbona is a Director of the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney.
He joined the team in 2010 and has spent 5 years based in Igneo’s London Office.
Rene currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Atmos Renewables.
He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance from the University of Wollongong.
Devina Parasuraman is a Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.

Nils hold a Master in Management from ESCP and a Master in Business Law from the Sorbonne University.
Ellen Richardson is a Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Ellen currently sits on the board of directors of investee company Scandlines.
Prior to joining the team in 2014, Ellen worked at Macquarie.
Ellen holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Durham.
Grant is a Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. He is based in New York and has been with the business since 2005, having also spent time in the business' London and Sydney offices.
Grant's role focuses on both the origination and due diligence of new investment opportunities and asset management responsibilities. Grant currently represents Igneo on the Board of Navigator Terminals in the UK.
Prior to joining the team, Grant worked for five years at KPMG.
Grant holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Yoshi Sano is a Director in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney,
Yoshi talks to institutional investors in Japan and covers all Igneo-products, i.e. EDIF, GDIF, NADIF, ADIF and co-investment opportunities.
Prior to joining the team in 2005, Yoshi worked at Citigroup Australia.
Yoshi graduated from International Christian University (“ICU”) in Tokyo Japan, had post-graduate study at Monash University in Melbourne.
Tom White is the Head of Operations for Australia and New Zealand in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2015, Tom worked at Link Market Services.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, Tom is a Chartered Accountant, holds an AFMA accreditation, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Alan Wu is a Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Alan joined the team in 2000 and currently sits on the board of directors of investee companies Adelaide Airport, Brisbane Airport and coNEXA.

Shanni Chew is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2020, Shanni worked at J.P. Morgan Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities Investment Banking team

Ignacio Doval is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, Ignacio worked in Citi’s Telecommunications & Media and Latin America M&A teams. Prior to this, he worked in strategy consulting at Oliver Wyman and Parthenon-EY in Singapore.
Ignacio holds a Meng in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
Sameera is an Associate Director within the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team ("Igneo"). She is based in New York and has been with the team since 2022. Sameera is responsible for transaction origination, execution and related asset management activities.
Prior to joining Igneo, Sameera was a senior associate at JLC Infrastructure, where she focused on infrastructure investments, particularly within the transportation and energy sectors. During this time, Sameera worked on the John F. Kennedy Airport New Terminal One project well as other infrastructure investments.
Prior to JLC Infrastructure, Sameera worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC ("GS"), where she focused on M&A and project finance transactions in the transportation, public-private partnerships, and industrial sectors. Prior to GS, Sameera worked within the energy investment banking group at UBS Investment Bank.
Sameera holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Shan Hiu is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2019, Shan worked in the Finance department at Coller Capital and previously at PwC.
Shan holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bath and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Youcef Lahceni is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2018, Youcef worked at Deutsche Bank and KPMG.
Youcef holds an MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking and a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School, in addition to a Bachelor degree from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne.
Francesca Mascagna is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, Francesca worked at J.P. Morgan. She also has prior experience at Barclays Capital and CMC Capital.
Francesca holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Corporate Finance from Università Bocconi.
Kate McCawe is an Associate Director of the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2015, Kate worked at CLSA and KPMG.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance from the University of Sydney and is a Chartered Financial Analyst awarded by the CFA Institute.

Carol Ng is an Associate Director of the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, Carol worked at SUEZ and GHD.
Carol holds a Masters of Engineering Science and a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales.
Daniel Sawires is an Associate Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining the team in 2019, Daniel worked at Macquarie Bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Western Sydney University and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) from Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Nicholas is an Associate Director in the Infrastructure Investments team. He is based in New York and has been with the business since 2020.
Nicholas’s role encompasses both the due diligence of new investment opportunities and asset management responsibilities.
Prior to joining the team, Nicholas held a position as an Analyst in Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure and Energy Advisory Group – completing transactions across a broad range of infrastructure asset classes and structures, including the privatization of Ridley Terminals, Inc.
Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida, where he graduated with both degrees in four years.

Prior to joining the team in 2024, Manu worked in the Finance team at New Mountain Capital, a New York based Private Equity Firm. Prior to New Mountain, he worked in PwC as a Manager in the Financial Services practice.

Prior to joining the team in 2022, Jake worked for Apex Group.

Nikhil is a Senior Executive in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. He is based in New York and joined the business in mid-2022. Nikhil's role encompasses both the due diligence of new investment opportunities and asset management responsibilities.
Prior to joining the team, Nikhil held a position as an Investment Banking Associate in the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure group at Jefferies LLC - working on M&A and project finance transactions across a broad range of infrastructure assets.

Krissy Modi is a Senior Team Assistant of Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in London.
Prior to joining the team in 2015, Krissy worked at Wilton & Bain Ltd and prior to this, Fox Davies Capital.
Krissy has over ten years’ experience in the PA, secretary and administration fields as well as a degree in Criminology from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
Anya is is Team Assistant in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. She is based in New York and joined the team in September 2022.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, Anya worked at Hertog Foundation for almost 4 years providing direct support to prominent American businessman and philanthropist Roger Hertog.
Anya has over 13 years of PA/EA experience supporting Founders/CEO’s in Biotech, Tech, Consulting industries. Anya takes pride in carrying over 10 years of Hospitality experience, and holds a Bachelor of Psychology with minor in Entrepreneurial Studies from the CUNY, Baruch College.

Prior to joining the team in 2023, Lauren worked at Mills Oakley. She also has prior experience at Pells Sullivan Meynink.

Prior to joining the team in 2022, Libby worked at a Venture Debt Firm and a Private Equity Firm.
She has over 14 years’ experience working in administrative support roles and has also lived and worked in New Zealand, France & the UK.
Lucy joined Igneo in November 2023 with over 20 years’ experience providing executive support to banking professionals.
Former employers include J. P. Morgan, Barclays Capital, Barclays Corporate, Citigroup, Credit Agricole, Canaccord Genuity and Houlihan Lokey.
Lucy has worked in various divisions including F&O, Cash Equities, Prime Brokerage and most recently Corporate Advisory.
