Parkia is the owner and operator of an international portfolio of off-street carparks in Spain and Andorra managing over 38,000 spaces across 71 different locations.

During the period of Igneo’s ownership, Parkia was an active market consolidator making 21 bolt-on acquisitions in the highly fragmented Spanish car park market. Parkia became the first national car park operator in Spain to offer EV charging facilities at all locations.

The business benefited from increased diversification of the customer base via new commercial partnership agreements with mobility and last-mile logistics providers. In addition increased automation and digitisation allowed Parkia to evolve into a data-driven platform creating a dynamic pricing and flexible service model which allowed more personalised service offerings.

Igneo funds exited Parkia in April 2024 to car park operator Indigo. .
