Real Assets: The 'Cornerstone' of an Institutional Portfolio?

LPs have been contending with themes such as persistent inflation, higher financing costs, energy transition, digitalization, and shifting policy and demographic dynamics. A recent survey by Goldman Sachs revealed that infrastructure and real estate rank among the areas of greatest interest for private markets investors. This session will explore how macro and structural themes are influencing opportunity sets across real assets and how allocators are thinking about the evolving role of these strategies within diversified institutional portfolios. Panelists will examine how strategies such as infrastructure and real estate fit into broader portfolio objectives around diversification, inflation sensitivity, liquidity management, and long-term return generation.

Speakers: Arabella Wuchek, Albourne Partners |  Jamie McKenna, Fengate Real Estate | Michael Ryder, Igneo Infrastructure Partners
