Investing in North American Infrastructure

Investing in North American Infrastructure

Why North American middle-market infrastructure?

  • North American infrastructure is a defensive growth market that has doubled in size in the past 5 years to US$7.8T1.
  • Strong middle market volume: the number of middle market infrastructure transactions has grown by 15.9% since 2013, outpacing large cap transactions.2
  • High growth in North American infrastructure investment, with limited competition in the middle market.
  • Unlisted infrastructure has the potential to add both growth and stability to a portfolio, thereby improving risk metrics with low correlation to other asset classes, inflation-protection, and diversification.
  • Middle market offers greater opportunity for differentiated origination and to improve and add value to businesses.
