In late 2022, Finerge, Igneo's Iberian renewable energy business, completed one of the largest ever refinancings in the renewable sector, a €2.3bn transaction which was certified as a green loan.

Finerge
Finerge is a leading Iberian renewable platform with a 25-year track record of development, construction, operation and acquisition of renewable assets. It is the largest wind energy producer in Portugal, and has an operational portfolio of 93 wind farms and 18 solar PV farms in Portugal and Spain, with a total installed attributable capacity of 2,168 MW.
Currently over 85% of the total production is remunerated under the Portuguese regulation with a FiT regime, 11% is regulated under Spanish regime and c. 4% is merchant. The portfolio has 11.7 years of average life and 7.8 years of remaining contracted life on average.
Under Igneo ownership, the platform increased its operational capacity from 642 MW to 2.2 GW, entering new geographies (Spain), and new technologies (PV solar and BESS)
